Hello I’m Geraldine,
Well, where do I start? I have been an accountant since 1977, you are welcome to keep that to yourself though! I worked at Spooners, later Atkinsons accountants, until 2011 when I made the move to ABC. Summing that decision up is simple, I love the place and everyone in it. ABC is a team of dedicated, fun, down to earth people. I already feel at home!
I will not bore you with the depth of my experience, it is safe to say that I can handle just about anything you throw at me. And if I can’t I know an office full of people who can, which is handy.
I am a very lucky woman with husband of 46 years, Colin, two daughters, Louise and Catherine, two son in laws, Ian and Richard, and four wonderful grandkids, Jacob, Alice, Ben and Lucy.
I have been a huge fan of Moto GP, and motorcycle racing in general for longer than I can remember. Yes, you heard me right, my hero was Barry Sheene who I met just before he died. These days I support Valentino Rossi, and my dog is even called Rossi. He is not quite as fast as the GP legend. I used to have my own bike when I was younger but I watch now rather than ride, my family seem to think it is safer that way!
I am an accountant through and through, I just love it! My clients mean a lot to me and I tend to become friends with most of them. The work I do each day really is a pleasure, and it affords me the odd holiday to Rhodes and Cyprus which is nice.
